Common Ground Guides started with a pretty ordinary frustration: a good therapist costs more than most people's grocery budget, and the alternative was wading through a 400-page self-help book to find the fifteen pages that actually applied to what I was dealing with that week.
So I started writing the fifteen pages instead.
Every guide here follows the same idea: pick one specific, recognizable problem — the text you've rewritten five times before sending, the argument that keeps circling back to the same place, the confidence that disappears the second something goes wrong — and give you the actual steps to work through it, not just the theory behind it. No padding, no chapters you'll skip.
I'm not a therapist, and these guides aren't a replacement for one if that's what you need. What they are is the next best thing: honest, practical, and built from real reading and real trial and error, so you're not starting from zero.
That's the common ground I'm building from — where decent advice meets the stuff nobody actually teaches you. I hope one of these helps.
